01.17.07 : GOLF OUTING

Planning to be in Portland early? Would you like to meet with fellow AHECTA colleagues in a sporty setting? Interested in golf? Not interested in golf, but would love to hang out and still have fun smacking a golf ball all over the place? Plan to join us for 18 holes on Wednesday, June 27 at Camas Meadows Golf Club. Tee times are scheduled for 10 a.m. which will be an early enough start to give attendees time to rest up for CCC2007's opening reception that evening! We encourage everyone to play, no matter how much golfing experience you may or may not have.

We will match seasoned golfers with new duffers so there will never be any embarrassing moments! The format will be "best ball" so there are no worries about how well you hit the ball or even WHERE you hit the ball! The cost is $65 per person (you will pay the day of the outing) which includes green fees, cart, range balls and a GPS golf system. There is a restaurant available for lunch and full on-course beverage service.

If you need to rent clubs, you can get them onsite when you arrive at the course ($20/set). 

Save the date and plan to play golf on Wednesday, June 27! When you register, let us know if you would like to play. We will contact you with further details.

10.13.06 : CALL FOR PROPOSALS

AHECTA has issued a Call for Proposals for CCC2007. Early submission of proposals is encouraged for all individuals interested in presenting at this year’s campus cable conference in Portland from June 27-30, 2006.

10.11.06 : MID-YEAR MEETING

The AHECTA Board will be traveling to Portland this November for their mid-year meetings and to further CCC2007 conference planning.
